Bartels offers a wide range of furling systems:

• Furling systems for stay rider sails: With halyard guide in the mast (with halyard swivel on the forestay) or directly on the forestay - the simplest version of a headsail furling system.
• Endless line jib furler or drum furler: We recommend the endless line jib furler due to its numerous advantages.
• Installation options: On deck or below deck - when mounted below deck, the turning movement is guided watertight and angularly movable via an elegant deck passage (particularly popular on classic yachts).

We also offer reefing systems with a profiled forestay, where the sail can be fully or partially furled in order to sail with a reduced sail area - without changing sails. These systems are also available with endless line or drum furlers and can be mounted on or below deck.

For Code0 and gennaker sails, Bartels offers specially optimised furling systems that are ideal for low-torsion ropes. These systems have a wide fork that accommodates the sail's AT rigging with a quick release, as well as a tack swivel that is mounted directly on the jib furler or via an adapter.
